How to prepare your vehicle
A few simple checks help the driver load safely and make the condition inspection clear.
Clean and document
Wash the exterior, photograph every side, note existing damage and save a copy of the signed Bill of Lading.
Prepare for loading
Leave about a quarter tank of fuel, check tire pressure and battery charge, and tell us about leaks or mechanical issues.
Remove loose items
Take out valuables, toll tags and removable accessories. Secure alarms, spoilers, antennas and convertible tops.
Transit timing
Shorter routes often take 2–5 days, while coast-to-coast transport commonly takes 7–10 days after pickup. Timing remains an estimate because weather, traffic and customer appointments can affect the route.
Pickup and delivery access
Door-to-door means as close to each address as the carrier can safely and legally reach. Low trees, narrow streets or local truck restrictions may require a nearby meeting point.
